Eco-designed

The shoe’s upper is made from Seaqual® yarn, which is 100% recycled plastic, 10% of which comes directly from waste collected from oceans, beaches and rivers. Thanks to the collective efforts of fishermen, NGOs and volunteers, marine waste is collected, sorted and cleaned, before being mixed with recycled plastic (plastic bottles, etc.). It is then transformed into a high-quality recycled yarn.

Which uses are these Aquasneakers designed for?

The Aquasneakers, or water trainers, are designed for snorkelling and hiking in water and on land. They give you comfortable access to any seabed, whether pebbles, sand, rocks or stones. They can also be suitable for other aquatic practices: canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddling (SUP).

Can I walk on rocks with them?

Of course it is possible to walk on rocks with the Decathlon Aquashoes Aquasneakers. However, be careful on the slippery rocks or rocks covered in seaweed where the grip may be reduced.

Can I machine-wash my aquasneakers?

The aquashoes can be machine-washed with detergent for a cycle at 30°C maximum. Choose a delicate programme. Then you should let them dry in the open air, avoiding the sun.
